Basic tips for web designing

Tips for web designing :

Tip 1 - Use a reference (but don't copy it!)
If you see an interesting web design, color scheme or layout, try to use it as a starting point for your own web design.

Tip 2 - Be unique
Try to create a unique design. Do not overdone your web design by adding numerous animated GIFs, fade-ins, etc.

Tip 3 - Content is king
Create content that purely relates to your website, the more pages with useful content you have the better. Make the body text on your index page focused and avoid the need for the user to scroll down on any page.

Tip 4 - Graphical elements
Any Graphics that you use on the website should always support the content and never dominate the content.

Tip 5 - Be HTML-compliant
Follow the proper HTML standards and check whether your website is HTML-compliant, to make sure that your website is displayed correctly in all browses.

Tip 6 - File size
Make sure that your site is quick to load in any browser. There are obviously a number of factors that can affect how quickly a website loads, but try to make sure that large file sizes isn't one of them.

Tip 7 - Colorsheme
Use a colorscheme of matching colors. Avoid excessive use of shouting colors such as green, yellow, or red.

What's wrong with ShareCash payouts? I had to email them and ask to get my PayPal payment resent. They did it without a problem, and I got the payment, but if I hadn't have asked then maybe I wouldn't have been paid.

Problems running the latest TWP Auctions script

I am trying to run the new twpauctions script on my website and for some reason it is not working. It keeps redirecting me to the hostings default error page which is a blog with loads of pop ups.

Here is the link to my php info.

I have an unusual question. I received some email correspondence about my domain name. I thought up the name over a year ago and registered it for 2 years. These people are somewhere over in Asia and after a few emails they said they were going ahead to register it. Is it legal to use it if they are in a different part of the world? Maybe no one here knows. Do you know of any resources I can look up as to the laws and legalities involved? Should I just not worry about it?

I am french and using this twpauctions 3.0rc2 code on a 1and1 server. I added on an htaccess those two lines to make the php5 working :

AddType x-mapp-php5 .php
AddHandler x-mapp-php5 .php

On one of my wordpress admin page I've got the following code :

A couple of questions about the differences here.

First of all, can TWP auction either? (I saw it written, I think, that TWP only works with Papperjam.)

Second of all, what is the difference between a epn_campaign_id and customid?

If there is a way to work with EBayPartnerNetwork, where do I put that number?

thanks for the good work. It's great to find people involved in sharing and helping.

I've got a problem with both V2.2 and V2.1: this error message gets printed instead of the auctions: "Please specify a query! (9003)"

I don't know what to do since everything is well set.

I had a similar problem with v3RC1 +RC2 with the following message "No keyword specified", while a keyword was actually specified. I installed the previous version since I don't run php5, but i guess it's the same kind of problem.

Hey Everyone!

New user to TWP and was wondering the best way to display my auctions on my website.

I tried it on my first site and I really don't like the way it looks in my posts. I think I am using RSS feed widget through Ebay affiliate.

What tools or widgets do you guys recommend I use with Ebay partner affiliate program?

This will be my first Ebay store as well.

I have two posts on my blog now at wiibazar.com. I can add pictures to the post but dont like what the text looks like.

Any suggestions to make this look better would greatly be appreciated.

My EPN sales have been terrible in the last 2 weeks. My hit stats are the same as usual, but my sales are WAY WAY down. I've been bringing in about $20 per day.

Has some dweeb at EPN kicked over one of their stat counting boxes?
