 Do directories still work?
is it still worth adding my sites to directories to get backlinks + PR? does it still work, or does google ignore it now?

One way (non reciprocal) links from related niche sites work much better than random directory links.

I don't think it worth. I spent some money on that for my blog but it doesn't help much.

I have used free directories and they definitely still do work. I know their influence is waning, since there are just so many of them. But there's still life in them yet.
Best thing about them is that you can target different keywords in the anchor text. I've experimented with that and have crept up the rankings for those particular words. Australian Articles Blog SEO Techniques |
