Zlio
Has anyone given Zlio a try? (http://www.zlio.com) <- no affiliate link
I started a shop with them yesterday, and was super impressed with the management and ease of it. They have a affiliation with multiple merchants (ie: new egg, buy.com, amazon, etc) and you select products from those merchants. The other interesting thing, is that you can select the revenue model. PPC, CPA or mixed, which is interesting. One account will allow you to set up 20 stores. I have one, but plan on cranking a few out. I think this is another great means of getting some revenue... "more baskets" The only thing I didn't like was the content areas. They give you two to work with, so it's restrictive on linking to other promotions in your 'network', but there might a way or two to 'manipulate' this. Curious if anyone else has tried them.. do the stores convert, etc? Are you getting good commissions? Is it worth to drive traffic via PPC (is the ROI good?)? hanji Money-Code -- Programming for affiliates blog -|- The Internet Marketing University |

RE: Zlio
Thanks for the info - I just signed up*.
They've done a very nice job on the admin interface - it's actually kinda fun setting up the stores. The commission percentages go from pathetic (NewEgg = 0.9% on each generated order!) up to 15 - 18%. I guess I won't be making a Zlio store selling computer parts. At first I thought I might be able to use Zlio stores to send traffic to my own sites... but of course once I'd read the TOS I knew it wasn't going to happen. --- * I missed the link in your sig - didn't see it until after I'd signed up

I snuck in a widgetBuck widget in my store, and removed it since that's a violation of their TOS. hanji Money-Code -- Programming for affiliates blog -|- The Internet Marketing University |

Next week I'm going to put together a couple more stores and try to get some squidoo/stumble action. To be honest, I've only created one store and haven't been promoting as I should. hanji Money-Code -- Programming for affiliates blog -|- The Internet Marketing University |

RE: Zlio
hi there...
Well all you Zlio fans can hate me because I’m the one who emailed the Amazon associate program to find out why they were able to use incentive marketing with Amazon sales and I was not. No sour grapes here because I was hoping that the deal Zlio had made with Amazon was something we could also implement with our site. |
