If I understand you correctly, the "no follow" link is something that is automatically (and typically) done by blogs and other services. And that such a link does not help you in SEO ranking. But the "follow" links will help.Yes of course it is obsoletely correct. Do follow link is follow by the spider, and not follow is not.
