RE: The BIG Traffic Plan
I read the article, but I don't understand a part of it.
Take a look at SEO superstar, Jim Boykin’s eBay blog. Notice the contextual links within the article which include his desired anchor text. If you check the source code, you will also find that these links are followed What does "followed" mean. I looked at the source and it looked like a simple html code to me. |

NOFOLLOW links are like this: <a href="link here" rel="NOFOLLOW">bla bla bla</a> That nofollow tag it's what almost blogs and services have, and for google links with nofollow doesn't count for pagerank and importance. The FOLLOW links (that don't have the re="nofollow") are rare in services like that from ebay blogs. |

RE: The BIG Traffic Plan
If I understand you correctly, the "no follow" link is something that is automatically (and typically) done by blogs and other services. And that such a link does not help you in SEO ranking. But the "follow" links will help.
Is that correct? |

RE: The BIG Traffic Plan
Ok, now that I have a basic grasp on the concept, I have a question.
I have a blog and a few websites. I have attempted to "cross-pollinate" my sites by including links to one another where relevant. I have just been adding textual html links <a href="rrrrrr">Site 2</a>. Do I need to do anything special to my own links to get the benefits from a "follow" link? |
